The 4th edition of European Report on Development (ERD), to be published in mid-2013, will address the emerging debate on the post-2015 global agenda on development and consider the main challenges for the next 15 years. The ERD Steering Committee and the research team from the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE), ECPDM and ODI invited to a presentation of their plans for the report and a panel discussion on its potential coverage.

The ERD is an independent research report, prepared by leading EU development academics and research institutes. Previous editions dealt with the topics as Fragility, Social protection and Confronting scarcity: managing water, energy and land for inclusive and sustainable growth (to be launched in May 2012). The ERD is the main output of the Mobilising European Research for Development Policies initiative, supported by the European Commission and seven EU Member States (Finland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom).
