While there is a consensus on the need to create a more effective and participatory global development framework, fast-growing developingeconomies are emerging on the global stage and challenging the traditional parameters for development cooperation. No global solutions towardssustainable development will be conceivable without their active participation. This conference offered a dialogue platform for representatives from Germany and MGG partner countries to exchange their views on the future reforms of the international development cooperation architecture. Additionally to our MGG partners and participants of the 3rd MGG course, representatives from German Ministries, international organisations and from German and European think tanks attended the conference.
