Global Cooperation for the Agenda 2030 - MGG Partner and Planning Conference
MGG Partner and Planning Conference
Brussels, 03.10.2018 until 05.10.2018
German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE)
The conference is organised within the ‘Managing Global Governance’ (MGG) programme of the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE). It consists of three parts: First, the internal MGG workshop “The Future of MGG – 2019 and beyond” brings together a group of partners from the MGG network to jointly reflect on ideas and plans for future MGG activities. Second, a public round table on “Global Cooperation for the Agenda 2030” will allow for an exchange with colleagues from the EU arena on global governance questions related to the 2030 agenda. Third, a workshop of a book project on knowledge cooperation and networks will conclude the series of events.
MGG is implemented by the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) with financial support from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It addresses global challenges by joint knowledge production, dialogue, research and its training programme, the “MGG Academy”. Together with its network of partner institutions from six partner countries - Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico and South Africa - MGG contributes to a transformative change at the global and domestic level.
