Success factors determining inter- and transnational cooperation
This cluster is centred on identifying and analysing good examples of international and transnational cooperation in different policy areas, for example, in economic and finance policy, research cooperation, and foreign and security policy. In addition to identifying specific conditions for success, it also examines whether the respective cooperation approaches can be transferred to other areas in order to serve the global common good.
How can we organise and orchestrate diverse networks of state and non-governmental actors in order to put innovations to better use in global solutions? The focus here is on case studies of new constellations of actors with regard to their diversity in terms of geography, function and interests and in respect to new forms of formal and informal governance structures.
