Project description
The project will analyze, in two countries, in what ways the new participatory pan-African policy initiatives, the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), and the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) influence national agricultural policies and sectoral agricultural framework conditions. The project will seek to identify factors that influence both the processes and their outcomes, focusing in particular on the role played by scientific information, which is, or should be, absolutely essential for effective policies.
